The methodology mandates a disciplined approach to project management, organizational change management, solution management and other as part of the solution delivery to its constituents. To ensure consistent and efficient delivery, our projects follow a structured methodology, which includes the following phases. At each phase, we work closely with your team to identify key milestones and deliverables, and to ensure alignment with your overall project goals:
PROJECT PREPARATION
This phase provides initial planning and preparation for the project. The purpose of this phase is development of the program approach strategies, a detailed project plan with appropriate milestones, and assignment of the project team, associated activities, and the overall program governance.
BUSINESS BLUEPRINT
The purpose of this phase is creation of a common understanding for how the firm intends to run the solution and support the business objectives. The result of the activities is the Business Blueprint— a detailed document of the project policy, process, solution, change, migration and integration requirements and impacts.
REALIZATION
The purpose of this phase is configuration of the solution to address all the business process requirements. An Agile methodology is applied for development of the deliverables after which the solution undergoes three formal rounds of integration testing which involve business users testing the solution against the requirements. During realization detailed change analysis is conducted and designed into the training and communications of delivery plans and materials.
DEPLOYMENT
The purpose of this phase is final preparation for conversion to the live, production system (inclusive of technical testing, delivery of end user training and mock cutover activities) and confirmation of both system and firm readiness for the go-live event. The phase also serves to resolve all critical open issues in advance of the decision to go-live. Upon successful completion of this phase, the BI system is live and ready to run the business operations.
HYPERCARE
The purpose of this phase is transition of the business to the new solution with 24x7 support across a full monthly financial lifecycle. This phase provides focused resources to identify and address any unforeseen issues as quickly as possible, mitigating risk to the daily business processes and transferring solution ownership to the users. This transition includes the conversion from a project-oriented focus to a transactional-oriented, business-as-usual focus as soon and as smoothly as possible.
